Malaysian gas costs August 2024 week 4 – diesel drops two sen to RM3.23 per litre; petrol unchanged

It’s Wednesday, which suggests it’s time for the weekly gas worth replace in Malaysia. The finance ministry has introduced the retail costs of fuels for the approaching week of August 22 to twenty-eight, 2024, and there comes one other worth adjustment for diesel gas in Peninsular Malaysia.

The approaching week sees one other drop within the worth of diesel, with the value of Euro 5 B10 and B20 diesel blends down two sen to RM3.23 per litre, from final week’s fee of RM3.25 per litre, itself diminished from the RM3.35 per litre fee since June 10 with the beginning of the subsidy rationalisation programme for diesel in Peninsular Malaysia.

The Euro 5 B7 mix subsequently stays 20 sen above that, which is able to make it RM3.43 per litre. Retail costs of diesel in East Malaysia stay unchanged, at RM2.15 per litre and RM2.35 per litre, respectively. In the meantime no change has been recorded for petrol costs, with RON 97 petrol staying at RM3.47 per litre, and RON 95 at its current ceiling worth of RM2.05 per litre.

These gas costs will take impact from midnight tonight till Wednesday, August 28, 2024, when the following set of gas worth updates shall be introduced. That is the thirty fourth version of the weekly gas pricing format for this 12 months, and the 293rd in whole because the format’s introduction at first of 2019.
